10,000 Baby Boomers a day turn 65 years old?!
All of us know or will know someone with dementia or one of it's other diseases. Why would you not learn what to do with someone who has this devastating diagnosis.
NCCDP is the National Council of Certified Dementia Practitioners. An organization that for over 20 years, have empowered those who work in the eldercare community with knowledge, compassion, and empathy, striving to make a positive difference in dementia care. Check out their certification courses here: https://www.nccdp.org/

Everyone either knows or will know someone with Alzheimer's or Dementia. Why not learn the tools you need to help not you and them?

You may feel lost and alone, traversing this new world. But we are here to help you start to understand what's happening

With 10,000 baby boomers a day turning 65, we need to empower staff now. No matter what your role is, you are a part of their life.

We can offer nurses 7 CEUs for this seminar. We offer CEUs through InsPAC.

There is so much information about Dementia that sometimes you don't know where to start. You need to start at the beginning with us.

There is nothing worse than knowing what to expect without actually knowing. One size does not fit all, other people's journey will not be yours.

We will talk about statistics and terminology.
Sometimes the best way to understand something is to hear real life stories. You will hear our stories and we hope to hear yours. We will have brain breaks as well as lunch and 15-minute breaks.
Yes, you will be in direct communication with the instructor the entire time.
You need to be on camera so that your attendance is captured throughout and you should ensure that your camera and microphone work 3 days prior to the seminar.
Please have pen/paper for note taking.
